ABOUT Scotch Porter
Scotch Porter is a black owned men’s beard, hair and skin care line that specializes in multi-purpose handmade products that are based on natural, intentional ingredients.
THE CHALLENGE
Scotch Porter is a lean and mighty start-up responsible for the operation of a full-scale consumer goods business that includes production, customer service, fulfillment, e-commerce marketing, and operations along with sustained efforts for intentional product development. Their need to grow marketing efforts, aligned with the business goal of increasing revenue and awareness ahead of several key business opportunities, the launch of a new fragrance line, vitamin supplements, and in-store distribution in Target and Walmart. The head of marketing needed strategic and tactical support to create a marketing plan and oversee it’s execution.
THE SOLUTION

In a consulting assignment lasting 9+ months, Kimmy The Great Inc supported the Scotch Porter team with rapid execution, taking over and managing the brand’s social media marketing strategy and providing sustained impact and long-term growth through the successful launch 4 fragrances, the implementation of new technology partners including an influencer and affiliate platform and the management of paid search marketing programs on retailer.com sites such as Target + Walmart. Evaluating ongoing performance through data analysis, Kimmy The Great Inc joined team cross-functional team meetings to provide updates and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Through our comprehensive marketing consultancy, we enabled our client to achieve remarkable success during the launch of their new product line. Within the first quarter of launching a new product, they achieved an 85% sell-through rate, significantly exceeding expectations, and creating partnerships with over 80 new influencers of beard care, hair care and fragrances in a single quarter. Consumer engagement on social media platforms skyrocketed by over 200%, driven by our targeted content strategies and audience engagement tactics. Additionally, we refined the brand’s messaging and tone of voice, ensuring consistency across all channels and enhancing the overall brand perception and identity.
